About the Rune School

The Rune School is an independent non-profit making organisation which exists:

To promote and support the study of the runes in all of their aspects, pursuing the undertaking and assistance of scholarship by utilising appropriate innovative means to provide high quality courses and information

It is run by a non-paid Director who reports to its Board of Governors. The five Governors oversee the work of the School and ensure quality is maintained in its courses and output.

We offer a a free comprehensive introductory rune course which gives anybody the opportunity to follow a structured self-study course at their own pace and we are also developing a comprehensive range of fee-paying more advanced rune courses.

It is also our intention to provide a resource of information on the runes, encouraging academic debate and research. Those involved with the School are largely unpaid, giving their time and energy because they believe in the mission of the school. Please let us know if you are interested in joining our course development or quality assurance teams or showing your support for the School in other ways.
