Function:	To offer an introduction to some of the key sources for Norse Mythology and some of its principal figures, showing its significance to the runes

Themes Addressed:	Reclaiming our mythology Literary sources Problems with the literary sources Mythology underlying the runes Creation myth Odin's discovery of the runes Who are the Norse gods? Focus on key deities Some sample stories Summary and conclusions
Follow Up:	No formal follow up but it is hoped the student will read the indicated literary sources in their own time.
